Latest release – “Coma-Inducing Gibberish”: https://pizzacrunch.lnk.to/ComaInducingGibberish
Pizza Crunch are a four-piece alternative band from Glasgow, UK. Since deciding their name through an Instagram poll, the group have gone on to record several songs at the renowned 7 West Studios.
Taking inspiration from early ’00s indie rock and ’80s post-punk, most notably in the joyful interaction of the guitars and vocals, their latest single “Coma-Inducing Gibberish” pays homage to Joy Division and the Arctic Monkeys sound while remaining totally unique and original.
Commenting on the track, which is laced with addictive vocals, the band said: “The song essentially builds to a chorus that outlines the pain of speaking to someone who won’t stop talking. The verses follow life setbacks and lead to the conversation with this person in the chorus being all the more infuriating and ‘coma-inducing’. We recorded it with Chris Marshall (Gerry Cinnamon) and Johnny Madden (Baby Strange) and are so excited to release it.”
